We are excited to offer you a deep-sea fishing adventure in Barcelona – one of the most thrilling ways to spend your holiday.

A fishing trip aboard our boat provides a unique experience that everyone should try! Picture yourself leaving behind the daily grind, stepping onto a spacious vessel along the Spanish coastline, and venturing into the open sea. Our deep-sea fishing trips in Barcelona are among the top activities you can enjoy during your vacation or visit to this stunning Mediterranean city. While on board, you can combine the excitement of fishing with the relaxation of sunbathing and swimming in the warm waters of the Mediterranean.

For many visitors, the main attraction is the chance to catch tuna. These fish travel in large schools, and tuna fishing is an exhilarating challenge that tests both speed and skill. When conditions are right, tuna can grow to impressive sizes, making them a prized catch for any angler. As the boat moves, the line is cast, a few tugs – and you’ve hooked a tuna. The fast-paced nature of this fishing method, along with the thrill of the catch, is truly unforgettable.

Types of sea fishing we offer:

Pesca de Fondo

Bottom fishing from an anchored boat or yacht. This technique uses a fishing line almost 500 meters long, with six hooks attached. Small fish are used as bait. You can expect to catch species like mackerel, eels up to 3 meters long, and other varieties. In just a few hours, it’s possible to reel in several kilograms of fish, including mackerel, lychia, serrano, sea bream, and eels.

Currican de Costa

Lure fishing from a slow-moving boat or yacht. Multiple fishing rods are mounted at the back of the boat. This method is more suited for recreational fishing rather than large catches. Onshore, locals often fish for mullet and cuttlefish at night. The potential catch may also include horse mackerel, mackerel, and halibut.

Pesca al Bruneo

Lure fishing with bait. Dried squid or small fish are used to chum the water, attracting fish over a period of about 30 minutes before the fishing starts. This method delivers a varied, though generally smaller, catch that can include tuna, imperial fish, dorado, and needlefish.

With our experienced captain, you will be introduced to the fishing gear and techniques needed for successful sea fishing, allowing you to learn how to catch tuna. While on board, you can take breaks between fishing sessions to swim and enjoy refreshing drinks and traditional Spanish snacks, making your journey both sporty and relaxing.

Trolling

Trolling is one of the most efficient and exciting fishing techniques. In Spain, this method is frequently used to target tuna, which are known for their strength and speed. Trolling involves fishing from a motorboat or vessel equipped with multiple rod holders. Specialized gear like outriggers, planers, and sinkers is also used.

On this thrilling trip, you’ll be guided by a captain and instructors who will teach you how to catch bluefin tuna using trolling. This technique provides an excellent opportunity to land large fish, with some catches reaching up to 4 meters in length and weighing several hundred kilograms. Using high-quality, reliable fishing gear is essential for success.
